The Expedition
Mission Spiritus – Patagonia is the fourth of seven science-led expeditions designed to collect environmental samples from remote global locations.
The expedition will start in El Chaltén in Argentina on 8 September 2026, move to and traverse the remote glaciers within the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, collecting snow, water and sediment samples on route and conclude by the 4 October 2026.
